David Andrew Sinclair is an Australian biologist as well as Professor of Genes best known for his study on the biology of lifespan expansion and driving research in the direction of treating illness of aging.

Sinclair is Co-Director of the Paul F. Glenn Laboratories for the Biological Mechanisms of Aging at Harvard Medical College. Sinclair got a Bachelors of Science (Honours Class I) at the College of New South Wales, Sydney, and got the Australian Commonwealth Reward. In 1995, he received a Ph.D. in Molecular Genes then functioned as a postdoctoral researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Modern Technology with Leonard Guarente.
Considering that 1999 he has been a tenured professor in the Genetics Department of Harvard Medical College.

Sinclair has received over 25 honors including The Australian Republic Reward, A Helen Hay Whitney Fellowship, the Nathan Shock Award, a Leukemia and Lymphoma Other, a BENEFIT Honors from the National Institutes of Health And Wellness, the Merck Reward, the Arminese Fellowship, the Genzyme Superior Success in Biomedical Scientific Research Honor, an Ellison Medical Senior Citizen Fellow, the Bio-Innovator honor, the Bright Sparks Honor for Leading Researchers under 40, The Denham Harman Honor in Biogerontology, a medal from the Australian Culture for Medical Research Study, and also a TIME 100 guest of honor, TIME magazine's checklist of the 100 "most influential individuals worldwide" (2014 ).
