  3. Fair enough! But sometimes you have to do things that you don’t necessarily want to do. For instance I don’t want to study for my exams and keep postponing it but eventually I have to do it.

    So how do you stop procrastinating for things that you NEED to do rather than want to do?

    • @samiksha varma Even if you find your ideal profession there will be certain things you don’t like to do.

    • that means you’re not interested in that exam and in life there’s so many things we are not interested for example doing chores ,exercising etc etc

    • As a student ! I have the same issue !

    • Of course everybody has to do things they don’t want to do. But the further you go in this process, to become purely joyful, what you want to do and what you don’t want to do are only a matter of like and dislike.

      If you are looking for joy and spirituality, you must lose your concept of like and dislike. After that, what you used to do that you HAD to do won’t be such a task. Because you’ll be able to do anything joyfully. You’ll do what is needed. Not what you want or don’t want.

  6. I disagree. If you always do only what you feel like doing, you won’t accomplish anything. Results require sacrifice. Sometimes it’s precisely the things that we don’t want to do that are the things we should be doing, like exercising, eating healthy or studying because they will pay off 100x down the road.

    • That’s because you only know the world from the outside. He’s not talking about anything outside. But because everybody only knows the outside world, and not the inner world, he has to use such examples. He’s not talking about goals and accomplishments and ambitions right now not he’s talking about a non-physical dimension which allows you to then become someone who can go wherever they want without white knuckling, chasing accomplishments and ambitions, he’s talking about inner Joy 100% of your life.
