  7. Dr. Gundry, I ‘m half Italian, and I have Thalassemia… a blood condition similar to cycle cell anemia. Have you considered this blood condition in the Mediterranian diet results? Thalassemia condition required less iron in the blood cell. When I give blood, they think I am anemic, but when they spin my blood, they see I have OK iron, and I am allowed to donate blood. Happens every time. I think this may be part of the reason for longer life in some Italians. My dad was 100% Italian, and he had it, too.

  8. Great info!! Thank to Dr Gundry and Dr. Goodenowe

  9. Fish is a primary source of TMAO, but is sttongly associated with reduced CVD risk.

  10. Unfortunately I could hear Dr. Gundry perfectly, but only heard about 20% of what Dr. Goodenowe said due to the sound quality of his voice on this YouTube recording. Very frustrating. I did check out the sound quality on the Dr. Gundry PODCAST (from my iphone podcast APP) and could hear his voice a lot better. Will have to listen again there. The most important message I understood (please correct me if I’m wrong) is that there is no way to improve the deficiency he refers to through dietary foods, only through supplementation.
